O presidente nacional do PRTB, Leonardo Avalanche, disse que quer tornar o partido um dos quatro maiores do Brasil até 2026.

A pretensão foi revelada em entrevista exclusiva à Gazeta nesta quarta-feira (29/1) – a primeira dada de forma presencial e exclusiva desde a entrada do empresário Pablo Marçal na sigla, em maio do ano ado.
Para isso, o dirigente se vale do lançamento de Marçal como candidato a presidente em 2026, em uma possível chapa com o cantor Gusttavo Lima. O partido também será rebatizado como "Brasileiros" para tentar dar um ar mais moderno, embora ainda conservador e cristão, à direita.
“O objetivo é criar uma imagem de direita conservadora, mas sem extremismos, com foco em inovação e tecnologia e atrair a juventude para a política”, afirmou.

De forma mais imediata, a ideia é atrair “de cinco a seis senadores” para a legenda, como Damares Alves (PL-DF), que pode ser lançada ao governo do Distrito Federal em 2026. Os anúncios devem ser feitos depois do Carnaval.
Ele também convidou o deputado Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), uma das figuras mais populares e controversas da direita no País, após o parlamentar receber uma crítica indireta do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL) na última semana.
A sigla já lançou Marçal como candidato a presidente da República, e acredita que o empresário poderá disputar o protagonismo da direita com o ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

“Bolsonaro foi o líder desse movimento de direita no País, mas a direita não pertence a uma única pessoa. É um movimento dos brasileiros”, disse.
“Marçal é um jovem que inspira a juventude, que inspira o povo brasileiro [...] Pablo traz em si esse novo movimento que estamos defendendo”, completou Avalanche.
Ele também afirmou que o prefeito de Sorocaba, Rodrigo Manga (Republicanos), será lançado como candidato ao Governo de São Paulo. O ex-prefeito de Guarulhos, Guti, deve concorrer ao Senado Federal.

Questionado sobre a acusação de ter ligação com o PCC, após a Folha de S. Paulo ter publicado supostos áudios em relação a um chefe da facção criminosa, ele disse que se trata de “fake news”.
O presidente do PRTB argumentou ainda que, se tivesse qualquer ligação com o PCC, teria enfrentado investigações das esferas federal, estadual e municipal nas eleições do ano ado e que os áudios foram manipulados.
“Estou 100% tranquilo quanto a isso”, garantiu.
