Com o tema “A celebração da voz negra”, o Prêmio Potências deste ano reforça seu papel como o prêmio de maior exaltação da cultura negra no Brasil.

A edição de 2025 presta uma homenagem especial a um dos maiores nomes da música brasileira: Péricles, que celebra 40 anos de uma trajetória marcada por talento, resistência e representatividade.
Voltado à valorização de pessoas pretas que impactam e transformam o mercado, o Prêmio acontecerá em 24 de novembro, na Sala São Paulo, com realização do Ministério da Cultura.
O grande homenageado da edição, Péricles, é reconhecido como o rei da voz e por sua contribuição inestimável à cultura brasileira. Mais do que um artista, é símbolo vivo da potência da voz negra que emociona e transforma.

"Neste ano, celebramos a voz negra como instrumento de força, potência e transformação. E ninguém representa melhor essa essência do que o rei da voz, Péricles, um artista que há quatro décadas ecoa ancestralidade e resistência por meio de sua arte", afirma Julio Beltrão, CEO do Prêmio Potências.

Criado por Julio Beltrão e produzido pela Mynd, o Prêmio Potências é um movimento que, além de uma premiação, busca a valorização da cultura negra em vida. A cada edição, celebrada anualmente, personalidades são reconhecidas não apenas por suas trajetórias, mas pelo impacto real que promovem na sociedade.

A cerimônia reconhece, homenageia e impulsiona personalidades negras que transformam o Brasil por meio da arte, cultura, comunicação, empreendedorismo e inovação.
O evento também atua como plataforma de visibilidade para carreiras negras e fortalecimento de narrativas historicamente invisibilizadas.
"Nosso compromisso é com a valorização da cultura negra em sua pluralidade. O Potências é um espaço de consagração e também de futuro, onde talentos são reconhecidos, histórias são contadas e novas possibilidades são criadas", reforça Beltrão.

Na edição anterior, realizada em 2024 no Teatro Santander, em São Paulo, o Prêmio Potências teve como grande homenageada a cantora Ludmilla.
A cerimônia contou com apresentação de Preta Gil, Thiago Oliveira e Rita Batista, além de performances marcantes de Liniker, Duquesa e da icônica Erykah Badu.
Foram premiadas personalidades como Xamã, Preto Zezé, Bia Souza, Juan Paiva e Rebeca Andrade, em um total de 14 categorias. O evento também bateu recorde de patrocínio, com 15 marcas envolvidas, reafirmando sua força e relevância no mercado.
