“Sei que muita gente quer saber toda a história sobre a minha saída da Band. A questão é a seguinte: um dos pontos principais, e isso não é de hoje, já faz bastante tempo, era a falta de estrutura de que precisava, que já tive no ado, mas depois deixei de ter”, pontuou ela.

A apresentadora revelou que essa condição impediu ela de explorar mais possibilidades no programa vespertino. "Essa falta de estrutura não me permitia mais fazer o que eu acreditava ser o certo, o que eu gostava de fazer. E foi isso que me levou a buscar outros caminhos para a minha vida. O restante disso... eu sei, eles sabem. E, para mim, isso basta", disse.
Apesar dos problemas enfrentados, a comunicadora deixou claro que não tem raiva do canal da família Saad. "Gratidão é algo que a gente deve ter sempre. Sabe aquela sensação de um casamento que funcionou perfeitamente bem por vários anos? Aí você pensa: 'Ah, não deu certo'. Mas deu sim, deu certo por aqueles anos. Depois, cada um seguiu seu caminho", finalizou Cátia.
Em nota enviada à Gazeta na noite desta quarta-feira, a Band lamentou a saída de Cátia Fonseca.

"A Band lamenta a forma como a apresentadora Catia Fonseca rompeu seu contrato com a emissora na tarde desta terça-feira. Como tem feito nos últimos anos, a emissora seguirá investindo no Melhor da Tarde com novos quadros e atrações, que serão anunciados em breve", pontuou.
