A Agência de Transporte do Estado de São Paulo (Artesp) ganhou mais autonomia com mudanças promovidas pelo Governo de São Paulo e a a fiscalizar trens, ônibus e aeroportos que transportam mais de 600 milhões de ageiros por ano.

A Agência apresentou nesta quarta-feira (11/6), em evento realizado na Sala São Paulo, na região central da cidade, a reestruturação que permitiu o fortalecimento desta autonomia e ampliação dos modais fiscalizados pela agência.
As mudanças se baseiam na nova legislação do Governo de São Paulo, que modernizou o papel das agências reguladoras estaduais.
Na cerimônia também foram apresentados os principais eixos de atuação da Nova Artesp, objetivos e diretrizes para o próximo triênio (2025-2028). O documento estabelece três pilares: regulatório, serviços e institucional.

A proposta tem como foco a modernização da regulação e fiscalização das concessões, e pretende melhorar a prestação dos serviços de transporte e mobilidade para a população.
Outro destaque do plano é o incentivo a soluções sustentáveis e inovações para o setor de transportes e infraestrutura, alinhadas às demandas contemporâneas por uma mobilidade eficiente e ambientalmente responsável.
Além da malha rodoviária, a Nova Artesp amplia fiscalização no maior setor de transporte e mobilidade do País.
