Motoristas ganharão um novo ponto de descanso em um dos trechos mais perigosos da rodovia Anchieta. A Ecovias iniciou nesta semana a construção de uma nova base operacional no km 46 da rodovia Anchieta, em Cubatão, no litoral de São Paulo.

Ela vai oferecer desde banheiros para caminhoneiros até e rápido para acidentes no trecho de serra. A obra deve ser entregue em junho de 2026, servindo como parte do plano de modernização do sistema.
Localizada no trecho de serra, a nova estrutura também poderá ser usada quando:
O novo ponto de apoio vai reforçar o atendimento em um dos trechos mais movimentados do SAI, ampliando a cobertura das equipes mecânicas e de resgate da concessionária e agilizando a resposta em situações de emergência, acidentes ou períodos de alto fluxo.
