Obra na rodovia Castello Branco, em Barueri | Divulgação/CCR ViaOeste
O prefeito de Barueri, Beto Piteri, se reuniu na semana ada com representantes da CCR ViaOeste para debater formas de minimizar os impactos no trânsito das obras de ampliação das marginais da rodovia Castello Branco. Os trabalhos devem terminar só no fim de 2026.

Atualmente, o foco das obras da concessionária está no quilômetro 26. Motoristas dizem que o tempo de trajeto praticamente dobrou desde início das intervenções no o 26 B, praticamente bloqueado.
Segundo o prefeito, a reunião foi importante para alinhar ações que diminuam os impactos à população.
“Nosso objetivo é garantir que a obra seja concluída o quanto antes", disse Piteri.

Os trabalhos fazem parte do projeto de ampliação das pistas marginais entre os quilômetros 23 e 27 da Castello Branco - que, por sinal, é alvo de um projeto de lei para ganhar novo nome -, além da remodelação dos trevos de Alphaville e Barueri.
A previsão atual de conclusão é dezembro de 2026, um ano além do prazo inicial, que era 2025.
A obra foi iniciada em 2022 e já conta com entregas parciais em alguns trechos.
