O cantor Nahim Jorge Elias Júnior, conhecido como Nahim, morreu na manhã desta quinta-feira (13) em Taboão da Serra, na Grande São Paulo. Ele foi encontrado morto na residência. O caso foi registrado como morte suspeita e é investigado pela Polícia Civil.

O corpo do cantor foi levado ao 1º Distrito Policial de Taboão da Serra e seguiu para o IML. A causa da morte ainda é investigada e foi registrada preliminarmente como “suspeita”. Ele estava sozinho e morreu após cair de uma escada, segundo informações da Polícia Civil.
Por meio das redes sociais, Andreia Andrade, ex-esposa de Nahim, confirmou a morte do cantor, por meio de um vídeo postados nas redes sociais.
“É com muito pesar que venho informar que realmente eu confirmo o fato do falecimento do Nahim. Estou muito em choque”, lamentou.

O cantor Nahim, um ícone dos anos 80 é conhecido por seu hit "Taka Taka", nasceu em Miguelópolis, São Paulo, em 11 de agosto de 1952. Ao todo, foram mais de 14 discos e 86 músicas lançadas.
Sua carreira começou a decolar na década de 1980, quando se tornou uma figura frequente em programas de TV e shows populares. O artista alcançou o auge da fama ao participar de programas como "Cassino do Chacrinha" e "Qual é a Música?".
Apesar do sucesso na carreira musical, Nahim enfrentou momentos difíceis em sua vida pessoal. Em 2019, ele foi preso por descumprir uma medida protetiva contra sua ex-mulher, mas foi liberado após concessão de habeas corpus. Ele estava casado com Andreia Andrade.

Ele também foi apresentador de programas na Rede Record e RedeTV.
Ao longo da carreira, participou de diversos programas de televisão, dentre eles "A Fazenda" e "Power Couple Brasil", realities shows da TV Record.
Nahim se candidatou a vereador de São Paulo em 2020, mas desistiu da campanha poucos dias antes das eleições. Na época a assessoria do cantor informou que ele retornaria dois anos depois como candidato a deputado estadual.
