Tatuzão chegou à estação Orfanato do Metrô nesta segunda | Celso Silva/Governo de SP

A tuneladora, equipamento também conhecido como tatuzão, chegou à estação Orfanato do Metrô de São Paulo, nesta segunda-feira (24/3). Com isso, concluiu a conexão das quatro estações do primeiro trecho da expansão da Linha 2-Verde do Metrô.

Com 91% de conclusão, restam pouco mais de 400 metros para o tatuzão chegar ao poço de ventilação (VSE) Falchi Gianini, na região da Vila Prudente, zona leste da capital paulista.

Nesse local será feita a conexão com os túneis da atual operação da Linha 2-Verde, encerrando todo o percurso da primeira etapa, desde o Complexo Rapadura, de onde partiu a tuneladora.

Nesse trajeto, já foram conectadas as estações Vila Formosa, Anália Franco, Santa Clara e Orfanato.

“Essa é a última estação antes da Vila Prudente e vamos caminhar até o próximo túnel de ventilação, onde a tuneladora vai ser desmontada e levada até a Penha, para a escavação de mais quatro estações, completando assim o túnel da Linha 2-Verde”, explicou o governador Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos), que participou da chegada do tatuzão à Orfanato.

Com previsão de receber 13,3 mil ageiros por dia, a estação Orfanato, que está sendo construída no cruzamento entre as ruas do Orfanato e Doutor Sanareli, alcançou 59% de conclusão total, entre obras e sistemas.

Somente a parte da obra civil já atingiu 84%.

Mobilidade para a zona leste 20531c

A expansão da Linha 2-Verde prevê a construção de 8,3 quilômetros de trilhos entre Vila Prudente e Penha, com oito novas estações e entrega por etapas, sendo a primeira (Vila Prudente a Vila Formosa) em 2027 e a segunda (de Vila Formosa a Penha) em 2028.

O investimento estimado pelo Governo de São Paulo é de R$ 14,8 bilhões.
