De acordo com a Associação Brasileira do Veículo Elétrico (ABVE), o Brasil tem como meta chegar a 10 mil pontos de recarga nos próximos dois anos.

Diante desse cenário, a Kinsol, empresa que trabalha com tecnologias para a mobilidade elétrica, ajuda a listar quatro mitos e verdades sobre os elétricos:
A manutenção dos veículos elétricos é mais cara e complexa – Mito. A manutenção dos carros elétricos é cerca de 30% mais barata do que a de seus equivalentes a combustão, porque a propulsão deles têm em média apenas 50 partes móveis em comparação com as 350 dos veículos a combustão.
Carros elétricos são mais caros, mas compensam a longo prazo – Verdade. Os elétricos oferecem vantagens como economia com combustível e manutenção e são liberados do rodízio de circulação em cidades como São Paulo, especialmente, que reduzem os custos totais de propriedade do veículo.

Carro elétrico não pode ser lavado – Mito. Durante seu desenvolvimento, os carros elétricos são submetidos a testes rigorosos, incluindo simulações de lavagem e exposição à chuva, para garantir sua resistência à água. Assim, podem ser lavados e utilizados em dias chuvosos como os veículos convencionais.
A bateria pode ser recarregada até 100% – Verdade. As baterias dos carros elétricos podem ser carregadas completamente sempre, embora alguns limitem eletronicamente o carregamento entre 80% e 90% para preservação da bateria. Mas isso não impede que as baterias funcionem com capacidade máxima.
