A Aston Martin confirma a chegada do novo Vanquish Volante, o carro de capota aberta mais rápido e potente já feito pela marca britânica eternamente ligada ao agente James Bond.

A produção do Vanquish Volante será iniciada no segundo semestre no Reino Unido, limitada a mil unidades por ano, devendo desembarcar no Brasil no final de 2025.

A Aston Martin não divulgou o preço, mas o conversível deve superar o preço da versão cupê por aqui, que sai atualmente por US$ 434 mil, em torno de R$ 2,5 milhões.

Empurrado pelo novo motor V12 de 5,2 litros da Aston Martin, com 835 cavalos de potência e nada menos que cem quilos de torque, o Vanquish Volante tem velocidade máxima de 344 km/h.

A caixa de câmbio é uma ZF de 8 marchas localizada dentro do eixo traseiro para melhorar a distribuição de peso do carro.

O teto dobrável em “K” é aberto em 14 segundos e fechado em 16 segundos, podendo ser operado a até 50 km/h por meio de um interruptor de metal no console central.
